Lexie has a lovely face and a beautiful smile. It is hard to believe that a soul this sweet was facing euthanization at a small rural shelter simply because they had run out of room. She was timid there in the kennel. Perhaps her fear is the reason why no other rescue groups looked her way. Lucky for Lexie, two cofounders took a long drive to that shelter and took the time to meet her. They found her to be sweet and saw a hint of playfulness once out of the loud building. Lexie and several other dogs left that day with us. Her second chance is here and she is making the most of it. Lexie is happy and   social. She loves other dogs, kids and even likes the cats in her foster home. She would be a perfect addition to any loving family.
