Hera is infinitely loving despite the circumstances of her past. You see, this beautiful girl came to our local shelter with an injury to her jaw that turned out to be damage from a gunshot wound. We don't know the details as to how to cruelty was inflicted, but we do know that despite her discomfort, Hera was and has remained the sweetest, most thankful soul. Hera underwent surgery to repair her jaw and to address some damage caused to her eyes. Now that she is recovered, it is time for us to find a lucky family for her. She is good with other dogs, loves running around the yard and seems to enjoy the company of kids. She is approximately 65-70 lbs and we estimate her age to be between 2 and 4.
